Zimbabwe Ghetto Warriors look to cause upset in Cape Town’s Umanyano Africa Cup of Nations

Emergent funerals services provider Funerals Direct has been unveiled as the leading partner in the Umanyano: Uniting Africans through Soccer football tournament which is running in Cape Town from August 19, and running for six weeks.
Umanyano Africa Foundation officials told Zimbabwe Digital News this week that the foundation was proud to host the second edition of the Umanyano African Soccer tournament, expected to draw crowds of supporters at Langa stadium
Umanyano is a non-government organisation based in Cape Town, and is led by Reverend Mbengo.
The foundation aims to createan environment where African cultures can enjoy conducive social environments stimulated through sports, arts and community development.
The Umanyano African Soccer tournament is sanctioned by the South African Football Association
and enjoys support from different consulates and the Western Cape government.
This tournament will see 20 communal teams representing their nations taking part at Langa Stadium.
Each team pays a R2000 fee and is community sponsored.

The Zimbabwe team is run by businessman Willie Hussein and is still looking for partnerships with the Zimbabwean business community in terms of transport, branded uniforms and any other sponsorship, and is appealing to the Zimbabwean community to come in numbers to support the team.
