Popular SA-based Zimbabwe funerals policy outfit Zororo Phumulani has unveiled a new summer wardrobe for brand ambassador Peter Ndlovu.
Legendary Warriors Peter Ndlovu was signed up by Zororo Phumulani as brand ambassadors with Ian Gorowa earlier this year, and the partnership has earned glowing market tributes as innovative brand ambassadorhood for the Zim funerals services industry.
At the time that the game changing news broke, Gorowa told reporters that it was an honour to be brand ambassador for Zororo Phumulani as the brand ambassadorship was part of the Zimbabwe Football Family initiative, aimed at changing the thinking, and life experiences of footballers.
The new wardrobe for Zororo Phumulani brand ambassadors was released on social media this week, and shows Ndlovu keepie-uppie on his left leg, while spotting a maroon Zororo Phumulani shirt, and grey Puma tracksuit bottom with a single black stripe on the sides.
The second picture doing the rounds on social media showed the former Zimbabwe captain in black sneakers resting his foot on a football, in the same attire while smiling at the camera. Others showed the Zimbabwe great in crouching position with the ball in his hands.
The new wardrobe will be of interest to watchers of branding for Zim-SA based companies as Zororo Phumulani has been defined by blue and white branding in its corporate identity.
Grey and maroon colours
The grey and maroon colours will signify a new, previously unnoticed diversity of corporate branding and appareal marketing in the company’s marketing merchandise, according to observers.
The Zimbabwe football family portfolio at Zororo Phumulani is aimed imparting life skills to Zimbabwean footballers through healthy living, fitness, personal responsibility and education on finances.
The company has signed up a number of popular footballers as it drives to change the attitudes of soccer players, most of whom earn millions, but are known to often fall prey to recklessness, junk-living and substance abuse at the expense of their careers.
The initiative includes all Zimbabwean footballers playing in SA, and among them are such greats as Edelbert Dinha, Innocent Chikoya, and the Mugeyi brothers among others.
Regular soccer tournaments are held by the company to educate the Zimbabwean community about social responsibility.
Zororo Phumulani has been defined by blue and white branding its corporate identity.
