Magura Tours, who are running one of the better organised travel experiences between Zimbabwe and South Africa, has announced a great offering this week, which includes a return trip between SA and Harare, and a FREE ticket to watch top gospel musician’s launch his album.

A statement from Magura Tours said that the company is this week offering this unique package, the first of its kind that shows innovative marketing between a bus and transport operator, and a gospel musician.

Mhere is one of the emergent gospel artists in Zimbabwe, and made fame with his 2012 album Anoita Minana which carried the chart-busting single Favour, and a name for the youthful musician among Zimbabwean folklore.

Some of the songs on the album include Vimba NaJehova, Areka and Chipostori.

The album was accompanied by a DVD, which also increased his fame and established him as a competent artist. In his journey to stardom, Mhere was nurtured and groomed by legendary gospel artist, Mechanic Manyeruke.

The singer has however risen above copycat claim after he drew controversy after reports that he was copying his fellow stablemate Blessing Shumba, reports that Mhere dismissed as untrue, save to say that he and Shumba were sharing the same producer.

Trywell Magura of Magura Tours said that while the bus operator was mainly a transport company, thousands of Mhere’s fans were in South Africa, and it had made sense for the business to offer this special trip between SA and Harare, with the added advantage that if one bought a return ticket with them, the fans of Mhere would get a free entry into the show, as part of the ticket package.
