“The Boss” Knowledge Machingura started music in 2015 when he released his first album titled “Muridzi wenhoroondo”

By Donna Kays

Last week I promised you a profile of one of the men making waves in the entertainment world of Pretoria. Better known as “The Boss” Knowledge Machingura grew up in Hippo Valley, Zimbabwe and did all his schooling there.

He started music in 2015 when he released his first album titled “Muridzi wenhoroondo”. The journey wasn’t as easy as it’s perceived to be by most people. Sometimes, no matter how much you try to get involved with others, you may find out that working alone is an exceptional way to take than with a bunch of negative folk.

“The Boss” tried unsuccessfully to work with a few people here in Mzansi, hence like a Polar Bear, he eventually chose to stay solo. I asked if this was really the best option, and as I presumed, he confirmed that a solo journey in a foreign land is a pretty tough one.

This forced him to start promoting musicians instead of working as one himself. The father of 3 now holds an average of 6 stupendously successful shows a year. And working with a team, “Orchestra Batanai” Music has become a means of living for most artists and The Boss, who promotes upcoming and fairly known artists understands this like no other promoter in the business.

He urges all promoters to take the works of the artists seriously and begs the general public to stop piracy and respect the works of their entertainers. To artistes Boss Machingura had this to say: “Stick to your game and keep working and believing in God, zvinoita chete.” Get deeper into today’s article, in order for you to see the line-up of his upcoming events.
